- Prawn curry is a simple delicious & flavorful dish made of fresh prawns, onions, tomatoes & freshly ground spices..
 
- This prawn curry has always been a winner at home for its simplicity and delicious taste. I do have other recipes on my blog for a prawn curry but this is just a simple quick version.
 
Ingredients
- 1 tray of jumbo deveined and cleans prawns
 - 3 tbsp oil
 - 2 cans diced tomatoes
 - 2 sprigs of curry leaves
 - freshly chopped coriander
 - 1 tbsp freshly ground garlic
 - 3 green chillies
 - pinch of mustard seeds
 - pinch of methi seeds
 - 1/4 cup fresh cream
 - 1/4 cup water
 - 1 chopped onion
 - 1 tbsp The Healthy Plate’s Seafood masala
 - 1 tbsp The Healthy Plate’s Kashmiri mixed masala
 - 1 tbsp The Healthy Plate’s Kashmiri chilli powder
 - Salt to taste
 - Pinch of sugar
 
METHOD:
- In a pot heat your oil on meduim heat, adding your mustard seeds, methi seeds, curry leaves, chillies, onions and garlic allowing it to cook till onions are soft.
 
- Pour your can tomatoes into the pot leaving it to cook for a minute or two.
 
- Add your seafood masala, Kashmiri mixed masala, Kashmiri chilli powder, salt and sugar. Leaving your chutney to cook on low till the tomatoes are cooked through for about 5 minutes.
 
- Add your washed and pat dried prawns to the pot mixing carefully till well combined. If you find the gravy to think add 1/4 cup boiled water from the edge of the pot.
 
- Pour in your fresh cream and leave to cook on low for 5 minutes.
 
- Adjust taste according to your liking (spices and salt)
 
- Garnish with fresh coriander and enjoy
