INGREDIENTS
4 salmon fillets 6 oz each, skin-on
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce low-sodium preferred
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic minced
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated (or 1 teaspoon ground ginger), optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and grated ginger if using. Whisk together until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a shallow baking dish lined with parchment paper. Pour the honey-soy mixture over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is evenly coated.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Baking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
If desired, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Serve your honey glazed salmon with cooked rice and steamed vegetables if you'd like.
